Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you will be a key member of our product development team. You will play a pivotal role in turning data into actionable models that our company uses to create new lines of business, as well as enhance our existing product line.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently develop and implement data models utilizing the Modelshop software platform.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in large, complex data sets.
• Data duties will emphasize the secure handling, storage, and validation of large datasets.
• Document workflows, create runbooks and develop best practice guides.
• Interpret data, detect trends, and analyze results using statistical software packages.
• Locate, define, and implement new process improvement opportunities.
• Effective communication and organizational skills, with the ability to function as the key point of contact for intake of data analysis requests.
• Be able to interface with various stakeholders from across all our teams.
• Collaborate with management to prioritize business and information needs.

Requirements:

• Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
• Technical expertise in data modeling and database design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics.
• 1-5+ years of experience in data related profession.
• Data Skills: SQL / NoSQL, ETL, Data Cleaning, Validation & Integrity
• Ability to develop proficiency in model development utilizing the Modelshop software platform.
• Python, Java, or other programming languages
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VBA, lookups, formulas, visuals)
• Business Intelligence Software / Data Visualization Tools (Power BI, Tableau)
• Technically minded individuals willing to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Must be detail oriented with strong follow-up skills.
• Must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks and respond with a sense of urgency as required.
• Organizational, multitasking, analytical thinking, and strong interpersonal skills

Desired Skills:

• Machine Learning: Experience with machine learning algorithms, model development, and predictive analytics.
• Technical Knowledge of Statistics: Ability to write efficient code using statistical software libraries.
• Business Acumen: Understanding of business processes and the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
• Healthcare Experience: Prior employment within the healthcare industry
