As a Cloud System Administrator with a primary focus on Azure, you will play a critical role in enhancing user experiences with cloud-based services and ensuring seamless technical support for our organization. Your responsibilities will involve configuring, managing, and optimizing our Azure cloud infrastructure, as well as troubleshooting and resolving cloud-related issues. You will be responsible for the installation and setup of new cloud systems and networks and will collaborate with non-technical staff, providing training to utilize these systems effectively. Your ability to translate the requirements of our internal clients into robust and high-quality Azure-based IT solutions will be essential in this role.
• Configure, monitor, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure, including Azure AD, storage, virtual machines, networking, and related services.
• Provide technical solutions and support to meet the global operational needs of the company, leveraging Azure cloud services effectively.
• Optimize existing workflows and implement new solutions using Azure technologies to enhance overall system efficiency and functionality.
• Automate operational processes within Azure using PowerShell scripts and other automation tools.
• Act as the first point of contact for users' cloud-related inquiries, offering remote troubleshooting assistance and timely support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new cloud-based systems and resources for new hires.
• Assist users with Azure-related installations, configurations, and troubleshooting, escalating complex issues when necessary.
• Collaborate with the support team to address recurring cloud-related problems, share best practices, and implement effective solutions.
• Provide accurate and up-to-date information on Azure products and services.
• Maintain detailed records of cloud-related events, issues, and their resolutions in designated logs.
• Participate in training sessions on Azure and related technologies, contributing to the development of user manuals and documentation.
• As your expertise grows, provide training to end users on Azure cloud services and their utilization.
• Perform other cloud-related duties as assigned.
• In-depth understanding of Azure cloud services, including Azure AD, storage, virtual machines, and networking components.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of work-related experience in Azure cloud system administration.
• Strong technical experience with Azure cloud services and management.
• Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for Azure automation.
• Experience with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.
• System and network experience, including LAN/WAN/VPN configuration and troubleshooting.
• Previous experience in configuring and managing Azure-based systems.
• Familiarity with Azure-based storage and backup solutions.
• Knowledge of Azure security best practices and data protection.
• Experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates for infrastructure deployment.
• Familiarity with Azure cost management and optimization techniques.
