Description
The Senior Specialist, Alternate Care Business Development is responsible for global growth of the Single Use/Exam Business Unit in “Alternate Care” verticals, which refers to healthcare providers outside of a hospital setting, including Dental, Emergency Medical Services, Primary Care, Veterinary, Blood Banks, Dialysis Centers, Outpatient Care and other non-acute medical industries. They will partner closely with Regional Sales and Marketing, Product Portfolio Management, Finance, Global Branding, and Regulatory Affairs to evaluate, develop and execute strategies to profitably grow Single Use/Exam sales and market share in Alternate Care verticals, across developed and emerging markets.
KEY POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• Drive global sales and market share growth in Alternate Care markets for company’s disposable hand protection product portfolio.
• Work closely with Regional Sales & Marketing across all regions to set and execute growth plans and new business opportunities.
• Develop vertical insights and subject matter expertise, spanning all business units and regions, for priority verticals in Alternate Care markets (including Dental, Emergency Medical Services, Veterinary).
• Collaborate with partners across regions to share learnings and best practices.
• Partner with marketing and sales leaders on product launches, promotions and programs.
• Serve as a hands-on resource to field teams.
• Drive strategies to increase share of wallet with strategic distributor partners in each region, engage distributor category managers and sales reps, and drive implementation of co-marketing plans.
• Collaborate with Global Portfolio Managers to expand key styles into specific markets relevant to priority verticals or geographies.
• Engage key industry opinion leaders. Collaborate with regional marketing on thought leadership and advocacy efforts.
• Collect intelligence on market trends, competitor performance and distributor sales.
• Lead market research to gain insights into application requirements, user needs and preferences, portfolio gaps, and brand presence/perception.
• Develop monthly reporting dashboards and analyze the health of the business, sales vs. budget/forecast, and progress against growth targets.
• Develop and maintain trainings, sales tools, and education for company and distributor sales teams.
• Lead the creation of meaningful content, including one-pagers, videos, display ads, landing pages, social posts, emails, and other assets and communications.
KEY POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education
• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university, MBA preferred
Job Experience
• 3-5 years of experience in business development, marketing or sales in a medical industry (preferably Dental, Emergency Medical Services or Primary Care)
• A proven track record in implementing/supporting marketing or sales initiatives, resulting in meaningful sales growth
• Experience in bringing new products to market and launching existing products in new regions, channels and verticals strongly preferred
• Experience in developing customer engagement strategies and deepening customer relationships
• Experience in executing integrated marketing plans
• Experience in a global role preferred
• Experience in partnering with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization preferred
• Business-to-business experience preferred
• PPE experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
• Fluent in English, other languages a plus
• Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of finance
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong project management skills
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT)
