Position Overview

The “Manager, Technology & Digital Portfolio Management” will be responsible to develop, implement, evaluate and manage the global technology & digital portfolio for the organization. They will lead the process for analyzing value, risk, prioritizing and onboarding business opportunities, projects and innovations that will drive the digitization of internal and consumer-facing solutions and experiences. They will create portfolio management processes, roadmaps, strategy artifacts, and key business-driving metrics to analyze the company’s digital transformation. Ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and key stakeholders throughout the organization. Reports to the Head of Digital & Tech Strategy and Portfolio

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Portfolio Management

• Responsible for developing, implementing and managing all aspects of the global technology & digital portfolio
• Create and manage portfolio intake/request process, including analysis of ROI/benefits and cost/efforts
• Create and manage portfolio prioritization process
• Manage top level portfolio budget in partnership with Finance and Technology Business Operations
• Development and refinement of portfolio reporting metrics to drive added value
• Responsible for overall assurance and project inception activities – inclusive of the charter lifecycle management process and associated stage gates
• Works directly with Project Managers, Key Initiatives team and company Business Management teams to ensure timely and accurate updates and appropriate balancing on the portfolio
• Partners with Procurement for full visibility of technology & digital portfolio

Strategic Analysis

• Develop financial model scenarios and analyses to evaluate digital and technology capabilities
• Establish and monitor KPI’s to identify and implement performance-based improvements and new strategic initiatives


• Provide executive and organizational communications on roadmaps and strategies across digital and technology portfolio

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

• Ability to think strategically and creatively to develop winning partnerships across Regional, Digital, Product, and Technology and Procurement teams

• Deliver frameworks, guidelines, and standards to create consistency across all channels
• Ability to evaluate and prioritize enterprise technology efforts for their value delivery
• Financial acumen, with ability to manage financial portfolio on cashflow or P&L basis
• Exceptional skill in driving results against aggressive timelines, managing multiple priorities and executing flawlessly
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication and influencing skills with the ability to formally present to and work with stakeholders across different functions, colleagues at all levels, and with partners
• Ruthless attention to detail & accuracy
• Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote and project/portfolio management tools
• Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies
• Minimum of three years of related work experience, including project, program or portfolio management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Engineering or Information Systems
• Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
