Position Overview

Our client is seeking an analytical and collaborative Business Analyst to join our growing Digital organization. This role will support both the Digital Strategy and Product Management teams, acting as a critical link between the business and technical functions to deliver customer-centric digital solutions. They will be responsible for researching market trends and assisting with the development of strategic plans and thought leadership materials. In addition, they will gain a deep understanding of customer and business needs to capture, consolidate, and document feature requirements. The ideal candidate is able to communicate effectively with teams across functions and prioritize diverse, sometimes competing activities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Gather and document business needs by leveraging interviews, requirements workshops, document analysis, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, and user stories
• Evaluate ideas from the backlog and analyze the value of product features to influence product direction and prioritization
• Assist with the rollout of new functionality and user acceptance testing, ensuring that product requirements are satisfied, issue resolved, and exceptional user experiences delivered
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision, analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs, and mitigate potential risks
• Understand information needs and proactively communicate with external and internal customers to test the feasibility of new features and enhancement

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

• Progressively responsible work experience in the business, analytics and or technology spaces
• 3+ years of experience in analyst roles with a track record of delivering high quality results. Experience in technology consulting with a focus on ecommerce a plus
• Proven experience with business, functional and system requirement documentation, user stories, process workflows, and test cases
• Strong analytical and project management skills with a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer and business needs, translating them to application and operational requirements
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills as well as the ability to work effectively on multiple projects simultaneously
• Comfortable and collaborative in a matrixed, iterative development environment
