Our client is embarking on a Digital Transformational journey to upgrade our Global Customer Data Platform. The desired outcome will improve our understanding and communication strategy regarding the customer. This role will support the architecture, design and implementation of technologies related to the marketing space and would involve working with cross functional strategy and delivery teams to define the long-term vision and goals for the company. This role will provide technology strategy and stay ahead of the innovation curve across a range of marketing technologies including Marketing Automation, Content Marketing, Data Analytics and Optimization, Mobile and Web Technologies, Social Media Platforms, Programmatic Media, and others. This role will also partner with the Customer Data Architect to ensure a robust and holistic strategic infrastructure is established with the customer journey in mind.

The selected candidate will possess advanced expertise in the subject of Information Architecture Technology & Marketing Technology. The primary focus of this role is centered on understanding the data needs from stakeholders and designing/implementing a data strategy, prioritizing development tasks, and implementing across the eco-system. The teams will leverage key existing mar-tech technologies at company in and our Data Lake in parallel to the further implementation of the Customer Data Platform on Redpoint Global. The Marketing Technology Architect sits in the Customer Data Team, reporting into the Global Customer Data and Marketing Technology Leader.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Partner with business leadership, IT teams, analysts and analytics teams to identify requirements and establish a clear, consistent capability vision as well as a supporting technology vision through collaboration, influence, and enablement.
• Create and own future state solution architecture of the marketing technologies aligned with industry evolution and the digital transformation vision of the company.
• You will proactively research new vendors, technologies, and industry best practices, and provide technical due diligence of software products and platforms
• Ensure that all individual technical solutions align with the overall architectural vision
• Craft guidance that helps delivery teams identify risk factors around quality, security and compliance
• Effectively communicating complex technical solutions through excellent written and verbal skills to business stakeholders
• You will develop technology roadmaps that consider both tactical and strategic direction, as well as factor in cost, user experience and security.
• Define and communicate a Data Information architecture that aligns with the Marketing Technology vision & strategy.
• Collaborate with Information Technology teams to understand the implications of respective architectures on information architecture and maximize the value of information across the organization.
• Decision-Making: Considers the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one; acts decisively and swiftly.
• Define and manage standards, guidelines, and processes to ensure data quality.
• Responsible for documenting data classification rules, compliance rules, and business rules for marketing technology

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, engineering, or similar work experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in information architecture or minimum 5-7 years’ experience as data analyst, business intelligence analyst, or equivalent roles.
• Hands-on experience with implementing data management programs.
• Ability to effectively manage and communicate with a team, both written and verbal.
• Must be self-motivated/self-starter in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work independently and within a team to resolve problems with limited information.
• Must have excellent business and process management skills, with an analytical mind to identify improvement opportunities and able to work with the business on executing and managing projects.
• Experience developing reference architecture, principles, and standards.
• Experience with AdTech (DSP’s, DMP’s, CDP’s, SSP’s, ad exchanges, etc.) preferred
• Good knowledge of data management, data integration, and database development techniques.
• Demonstrated knowledge of SQL.
• ETL and experience with 3rd Party ETL Technologies (MS SSIS, Alteryx, Informatica, etc.).
