Main Duties
- Participate in multiple phases of the software development life cycle and provides application leadership in both technical as well as functional areas.
- Leads the application design and development in relevant application ensuring that it is appropriate across the business.
- Ensures that the application and technical design meets business needs
- Implements IT functions and programs that are aligned with organizations objectives.
- Provide input for technical tasks to project plans and identify milestones and deliverables.
- Know and follow standard company processes and follow technical guidelines.
- Ongoing communication with management and customers.
- Proactive in communication and escalation of concerns.
- Represent IT, as necessary to senior management, customers, and other business units.
- Create and maintain departmental technical SOPs to be used as relevant guidelines.
- • Ensure all activities in areas of responsibility are conducted in compliance with relevant SOPs.
Desired Experience
Required Experience:
- Degree (BS/BA) in computer related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4+ years hands-on experience in development & analysis utilizing the following technologies.
o IBM Cognos BI (V8.4) and Administrative capabilities.
o ETL Development tool - Informatica and/or Datastage.
o Unix HP and Windows NT Operating systems.
Desirable:
Knowledge of healthcare industry highly preferred but not required.
Agile development experience.
Knowledge of Information Management.
