- Design and specify reports and dashboards.
- Design, create and maintain technically complex reports.
- Maintain the existing report portfolio as well as begin the analysis and specification process for new report and dashboard development.
- Perform a supervisory role for the other members of the EBI development staff, including work prioritization, assignments, technical leadership and mentoring.
- Manage EBI report requests including development of specifications and work to be done.
- Design and execute thorough report testing scenarios for all team work products; obtain user acceptance.
- Must assure that EBI team work products meet committed deadlines and quality expectations.
- Manage the development source library.
- Maintain EBI security.
- Manage EBI user support.
- Manage resolution of EBI technical problems.
- Create and maintain Business Objects Universes.
Challenges include working with executive management, a variety of business users and MIS peers to define reports and dashboard requirements that will satisfy the needs and constraints of the stakeholders across the multiple lines of business.

Technical Skills:
- Expert skills in Crystal XI or higher: Sub-reports, drill-down reports, complex formulas, conditional formatting. 5 years of Crystal experience is a must.
- Expert skills in Infoview and Business View Manager in the Crystal Enterprise/Business Objects world.
- Expert skills in building Business Objects Universes.
- Expert skills in Oracle SQL and MS SQL: Advanced and complex SQL query writing, views, procedures. Advanced SQL query writing is as important as the Crystal experience.
- Working knowledge of Business Objects security.
- Expert skills in data analysis and data requirements definition.
- Expert skills in dashboard development and publishing.
- Superior skills in understanding and analyzing data models, especially star schemas.
- Previous experience working with Data Warehouse technology (Kalido Data Warehouse experience is a plus).
- Tableau experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of Windows script language.
- Experience working with source management tools, such as Microsoft Visual SourceSafe. Expert skills in Oracle Financial Statement Generator (FSG) is a plus.
Business Skills:
- 5 - 7 years of report/dashboard development experience; especially in systems/business analysis, gathering requirements, documenting specifications, coding, testing, and implementing in multiple environments.
- 3-5 years of technical lead / supervisory experience.
- Superior skills in writing technical specifications, reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
- Strong oral and written business communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical staff at all levels of the corporation, including executive management.
- Responsible for the technical management and mentoring of the EBI development team.
- Design and execute thorough report testing scenarios for all team work products; obtain user acceptance.
- Analytical reasoning, solution orientation and creative thinking is key.
- Strong analytical skills, detail oriented, accurate, precise, organized.
- Ability to adopt and learn new software tools quickly and effectively transfer that knowledge to others.
- Ability to work as part of an existing team.
Other:
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of broadcast media business desirable, including knowledge of broadcast sales and traffic systems.
- Knowledge of finance terms, principles, concepts and practices.
