Description

Responsibilities:

Develop validation procedures that satisfy constraints of study data quality plans.
Create derivation procedures that meet reporting requirements and enhance data entry operations.
Maintain/manage data extract views and create data extracts, as needed.
Review study documentation, translate study design parameters into Oracle Clinical data objects.
Maintain, verify, and improve OC database backup and recovery procedures.
Monitor OC database parameters, adjust configuration on an as-needed basis.
Provide patch/release analysis and guidance, apply and validate relevant updates.
Document activities and work according to SOPs. Writes clearly and accurately.
Manage the development, support, and administration of multiple IS systems.
Maintain a safe work environment. Reports workplace hazards immediately.

Qualifications:

Minimum of BS degree in Computer Science or related field or related experience.
Minimum of three years experience creating data objects and procedures in Oracle Clinical 4.5.x.
Experience using a clinical data reporting tool, such as Integrated Review.
Expert PL/SQL, SQL skills using.
Demonstrated experience administering Oracle databases in Oracle Clinical environments.
Effective communication skills; a cooperative and team oriented approach.
Experience in a regulated environment, especially pharmaceutical (21 CFR Part 11).
Good time management and organization skills; the ability to prioritize own work to meet tight deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of work..
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of production technical support, training users and writing documentation.
