Responsibilities:


  • Develop validation procedures that satisfy constraints of study data quality plans.
  • Create derivation procedures that meet reporting requirements and enhance data entry operations.
  • Maintain/manage data extract views and create data extracts, as needed.
  • Review study documentation, translate study design parameters into Oracle Clinical data objects.
  • Maintain, verify, and improve OC database backup and recovery procedures.
  • Monitor OC database parameters, adjust configuration on an as-needed basis.
  • Provide patch/release analysis and guidance, apply and validate relevant updates.
  • Document activities and work according to SOPs. Writes clearly and accurately.
  • Manage the development, support, and administration of multiple IS systems.
  • Maintain a safe work environment. Reports workplace hazards immediately.



Desired Experience

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of BS degree in Computer Science or related field or related experience.
  • Minimum of three years experience creating data objects and procedures in Oracle Clinical 4.5.x.
  • Experience using a clinical data reporting tool, such as Integrated Review.
  • Expert PL/SQL, SQL skills using.
  • Demonstrated experience administering Oracle databases in Oracle Clinical environments.
  • Effective communication skills; a cooperative and team oriented approach.
  • Experience in a regulated environment, especially pharmaceutical (21 CFR Part 11).
  • Good time management and organization skills; the ability to prioritize own work to meet tight deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of work..
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of production technical support, training users and writing documentation.
